The only problem in the old days is when those autistic misty fans like Weedle and Nickstr started trolling the main anime section instead of staying in their Misty clubs.

My favorite rants of there's is when they would go around saying the Pokemon anime would be canceled unless Misty returned. They were really that stupid enough to believe the only reason the anime was a success was because of Misty, and then went on claiming their petitions and boycotts would somehow get her back in the anime.

I think most of the Misty fans left around the time BW started except for a few. When DP was airing they still thought Misty was going to make some sort of comeback or cameo.

I think it was Misty's lack of a DP cameo, plus Brock finally leaving at the end of DP, that convinced them Misty was gone for good. Of course there's still some nutjobs who sat there even as late as when XY was airing expecting a Misty return, but it goes to prove some people are beyond crazy.

Well it obviously started with her Squirtle learning ice beam out of nowhere and beating Harley in that first Kanto contest. Back then people expected Harley to finally beat May so they were disappointed he lost again and to a baby Squirtle no less.

Thankfully though Harley gets his first win against her when she uses Munchlax. That's one of the funniest contests especially the parody sub by Yamato-san, another old-school AG veteran who loved May.

Odds are things are going to start becoming more paced since everything we needed to know about the region is out of the way now.

Ash has started his trials, we've had episodes dedicated to the entire core cast, Team Rocket has developed relationships with their Pokemon and we know the personalities of all of them, Lusamine and Gladion have been forshadowed.

Everything now points towards a more filling future.

Ash VS Tapu Koko is probably going to be the real "Start" to the series.

So all of Ash's Pokemon seem to be the type that would evolve thus far barring maybe Rowlet so his team thus far would be...

His team thus far is looking to be really strong especially with Z-Moves added in, there is still some potential for Vikavolt but it seems less and less likely every day so I am rather curious about his next two Pokemon and if there is a chance for him to get more. Honestly considering how strong XY Ash was, I think that SM Ash may wind up being even stronger since his Pokemon thus far are rather powerful species and he has access to Z Moves.

If Ash were to fully evolve all of his Pokemon this series and master Z-Moves he would easily surpass XY Ash w/o Ash-Greninja, if he keeps his Z-Ring and gets a Mega Evolution or brings back Ash-Greninja he would easily be capable of beating Alain and probably most Elite Four trainers, especially if he brings back his older Pokemon like Snorlax and Infernape.

As it is right now, if we're to believe Pikachu, Rowlet, Rockruff, and Litten are his current future Pokemon none of them really scream powerful besides Pikachu. If the threat of UB's is going to be made to show them with immense strength that can take even a Guardian down then Greninja coming back I'd say is very likely.

It'd sense something is wrong in Alola and leave Puni-chan for a bit to go help Ash before returning to its duty in Kalos.
