Come in on an electric or ground attack and Encore. Then you can U-Turn out or pass a screen. Emolga also gets Baton Pass and Agility if you wanna pass speed. Agility has the added benefit of boosting Electro Ball. Red Card is if the opponent has priority/boosted speed and you just want to phase it out. You could also replace with Leftovers.

Yes, it sounds incredibly boring. 802 is too much too add subtle varieties like that into. And those subtle varieties would still lead to a set of pokemon being better than the rest, so not much would change.

Thanks. Emolga also gets Tailwind, so if you don't want to waste 2 slots for Agility/Baton Pass, you could always use Tailwind and use the extra slot for something else.

Emolga is very frail and a strong neutral attack will dent it or outright KO it, so be sure you know how to bait EQ/T-bolt or even a set-up move and watch out for priority minus Bullet Punch.

I would recommend U-Turn over Volt Switch. If the opponent is immune to Electric (Ground, Motor Drive, Volt Absorb, Lightning Rod), then Emolga won't switch out.
