I'd like if anything for them to just retool mega evolution.

Like instead of making them OP psuedo legendaries with 650 BST or whatever it was, just make them permanent forme changes ala Giratina, where the evolution just modifies their stats and ability to suit a different play style.

Z-Moves can be useful offensively to bypass drawbacks.

for instance, Fly is a shitty move thanks to its wind up turn but becomes I think 160 BP SSSS when powered by Flying-Z.

With all the talk of "primal" forms in ORAS, I was kinda hoping they'd revisit that and have a game where instead of megas they have Primal forms of a number of pokemon, and not just for end evolutions.

Had a thunk
