yes, you get 45 packs for completing them. Honestly I might wait if I were you though until the next set drops to finish completing though because you then have a chance to get guardians packs, which include Tapu Lele-GX which will be the next big money card.

You can't trade it, but if you can pull 1 from the probably 10 or so SM2 packs you might get from the challenges that saves you a shitload of value in trading for one.

R8 my deck. Im still waiting for shaymin. I tried to fit entei in without sacrificing the reliability of straight volcanion, I mainly want it as a counter to garb, and 4 on the bench would be enough to take it. Its even better for things running no garb but sky field. Or should I just swap it back for a baby volcanion and just use steam artillery despite the energy cost?

Why is Noiverne theme deck so unrelaiable, they told me it was one of the bests and I got meme'd, I either shit all over the opponet with zoroark/noiverne/gengar and the occasional ursaring or get shat over with no hope.

Guardians is slated for May. The 45 packs don't really add much to your short term progression anyways, they're all about providing those big random draws that you can work into decks (for example, I got 2 Gardevoir EX and a M-Garde STS so I built a Gardevoir deck as my first) in the longer term after you already have some trade value built

All theme deck are a mess. you will get bricked by drawing to muuch energy, drawing the unfinidhed evolution line, getting the 2 useful pokemon prized, etc.

If you did not liked it you should try the SM decks. Incinroar deck has an annoying torkoal that tank most of the games, bird deck is the basic "let the starter line do all the work", Primarina is bad unless you are against weakness.

Anyone else having trouble with this new patch? My game tries to install it, and when it goes 100%, I click "Play" and it goes back to installing the patch.

I would imagine that they're jokingly called that because they're "smaller" than the EX/GX versions of the same Pokémon (less HP, attacks deal less damage, etc.)

If you are playing this online, 12 SM packs would get you most of the cards you dont have.

The list is solid, I would recomend either Kukui or Giovanni to achieve a sighlty higher damage output.

I've tried it on ladder quite a bit. I think Raikou/Electrode is overall better but you get some really hilarious power play turns and I'm certain no one is expecting it.

If you're talking about the deck that used deltanite, I found that one to be kind of shit, honestly. This is the more stable version I meme'd together. Depending on non-grass type 2 stage evolutions is really painful, at least this way the dragonites are just a way to recycle whatever dragonairs you have on your bench after they've accomplished their job.

Raikou has 50 damage reduction with a lightning energy attached and this stadium in play. With FFB, aether and shining body, Raikou has fucking 210 effective HP, as a single prize basic.

I guess the only issue is you technically do less damage against grass decks which will be common, Bulu/Lurantis will be a thing well into the future though decidumeme will be dead once FOGP rotates. You'll probably want to carry 2 delinquents for that matchup so you can strategically sack your own stadium to finish KOs. Even if it means you get revenged without the 50 DT protecting you the next turn, Raikou wins the prize trade against GX attackers.

In my experience, Decidueye is shit when you're trying to do anything but set up an artillery line and run interference, and, since you seem to be a grass binge, Lurantis-GX doesn't have any good partners and ends up just being the main attacker.

First off you never overextend if you can't secure a kill. Secondly you never go over your necessary damage. Conserve resources at all costs.

That's not bad. Personally I could never find room for a Zoroark line but it's certainly useful especially in the mirror match.

That's why I run Karen if something happens to it. The unfortunate thing about Dragonite EX is that it's not helpful if they have Garb up which they will also have. I don't always get to make good use of it but it's a bench sitter at least.

You're missing the point. The goal of the game is to deal the maximum amount of damage as soon as possible. Nothing bad will happen if you just splurge everything out all in one go. Frankly if they counter your strategy then that's just cheap, unfair and luck-based.

Too much going on on the pokemon front. Stage 2s that aren't super good are kind of dogshit so dump Krook line for sure, especially because if you need tool removal you already have Carvanha.

Dump Rattata/Raticate, the card is too vulnerable to N as a 2 stage. I actually think SM Carvanha/Sharpedo line isn't bad but I'd also ditch them for 2 Pyukumukus to use with Umbreon's strafe ability. I suggest ditching Darkrai and making Umbreon the focus of this deck, they don't actually have good synergy until Altar of the Moone is released at which time Darkrai/Umbreon becomes quite good. In the meantime replace it with 2-2 Zorua/Zoroark.

As far as trainers go, well shit let me just make you a screenshot of what I'd do senpai.

Agreed lose the Raticate & Krook lines they aren't helping shit. Nor is Darkrai desu. Maybe as an occasional late game attacker. Yveltal-EX would be better since it alternates a weakness. You could consider baby Yveltal for additional acceleration & potentially Yveltal break who would work well with Umbreon's snipe attack.

I like the Sharpedo & Umbreon Strafe combo more than the previous anon. The free retreat is worth the two-stage line, and it can attack in a pinch where Pyuku is dead weight. Have you considered balloons to fuck your opponent even more? Or even max potion to just keep the Sharpedo in play round and round.

You will only need 1 PCL at most, but you definitely will want 4 Sycamores.

Also, get VS Seekers as soon as possible. Basically every deck should run 4 of them.

A lot of the cards you're using (Hau and Town Map for example) are pretty bad. However, I'm assuming that if you're just getting started you don't have a huge collection and so some mediocre cards are necessary to hit 60.

It's really good but it won't be more than a 1 of until Shaymin is out of the format. Even then it's going to be printed in 3 tiers of rarity. The result is that it's not going to be that expensive when it's first released.

So far it looks like there are going to be quite a few good cards in the set. Tapu Bulu-GX and Turntornator-GX are good enough to get their own decks built around them.

For theme, decidueye deck sweeps the floor with its insane pokemons like spinda and kangaskan, opening up for a clean finish with decidueye or the occasional parasect or pinsir. Also that mushroom pokemon I can't recall how's called is a nice supporter.

Incineroar deck is also equally good, passimian bullies the weak basic pokemons in the enemy bench, torkoal shits on 90% the things you meet in theme, roggerrola wins games by itself by just placing it active on decks filled with mons resistant to fighting (that are a lot). The incineroar and palossand lines have ridicolously high HP values and hit hard. Also Oranguru.

Primarina deck is memes galore.

For standard: you get some good trainer cards. Incineroar has the larger amount of pokemons that could actually be usefull too.

Yes, absolutely yes. Shaymin will remain expanded mandatory, we don't even know how expanded rotations will work, except that they're not rotating sets into legacy this year IIRC.

Shaymin packs leaving the store combined with the continuing need for new shaymins will make the value of ROS increase over time while the value of SM base will fall off as guardians has the core consistency card of this set so far while SM's most valuable card is one that will be absolute dogshit without FOGP.

Possibly. Shaymin will still be legal in Expanded, at least for the foreseeable future, so they will still have value.

Decidueye is the most expensive card in SM atm, though I guess HR Lurantis is of similar value.

And yeah, Lurantis will remain a thing until she's rotated out of the format, it's just a really solid card and with Guardians it gets something worth accelerating grass energy onto other than itself. But Decidueye decks are fucked once FOGP rotates, after it's gone I see it being 1-0-1'd in decks that already carry rare candy as a tech, but a full deck of them is basically out of the question.
