i feel if they made it online people would hive half a shit about it. I think the main reason no one cared about contests in game is because it gets boring seeing the same pokemon with the same move sets all the time. Give us more variety!
It was nice to have something where i could enter any bro and as long as i gave him the right kind of pokeblocks/poffins he could win. Sure move sets still matter, but you can usually make it work. Same thing with pokeathalon. It's nice to have a interactive mini game where i could use my bros that aren't good in competitive. Musicals were such a let down because they were such a water down version they they might as well not have been in the game at all.

If GF would want to keep on surprising people like they claim they want to and if they had any sense of self awareness then they'd do Kalos sequels now (since they still keep on teasing Zygarde in SM without any resolution) or do both third versions at once with some cross regional story

XY was terrible but it didnt even come CLOSE to the level of absokute garbage that DP were.

It has a lot of flaws, but it did do a couple things right, mainly the dex, 3d, and amie. But DP didn't do ANYTHING better than any other game in the series. Make a pro/con list right now, they'll both have a lot of cons but at least XY will have a few pros
