Also, everyone knows that Onix is shit because it's the obligatory first boss Pokemon, with shit in every stat except for Defense specifically to wall physical attacks and validate the use of your starter's STAB, or to go out and catch something super effective. Literally a tutorial Pokemon to check if the player understands the concept of leveling up or catching wild Pokemon, as well as establishing the pseudo difficulty setting that comes with your starter choice.
