Tyranitar is my fav pseudo and fav mon of all time

I can't decide between them, all but metagross. They all badass, and cute, and strong, and perfect.

What would a mon be like with the best stats of all the pseudos? not counting megas

I don't really like pseudos in general but Garchomp looks cool and gives me easy wins.

Hydreigon's a weird one- I absolutely love multi-headed beasts like hydras, King Ghidorah from Godzilla was a favorite of mine as a kid. A 3 headed dragon should be right up my alley, but Hydreigon feels like... it's missing something. Horns? Spikes? Bigger, more defined wings? I'm not sure but it feels off- I don't like it as much as I should given it's design niche.

Do you think Metagross has telepathy, could it speak to you in your mind? What would it's voice sound like? Deep and gravely, or more robotic?

I've always been a bit confused by Metagross' biology, or at least how much of it is biological. It's previous formes never mention a need to eat, yet Metagross has a hunting pattern and seems to feed on other organisms as a source of energy. So it must have a whole host of internal organs to process said calories. It sure looks like a robot besides it's eyes and the red inside of it's mouth- is it just a metal exterior?

I've also always wondered if Metagross needed to be Psychic. If it wasn't, it could just use magnetism to levitate itself and fulfill most of the functions of it's Psychic traits. If it wasn't Psychic, what would it's secondary typing be? Psychic/Steel isn't super great anymore now that Steel no longer resists Dark/Ghost.

Are you asking what is the best stat distribution for a Pseudo? They have 600 BST by definition as of now, unless Game Freak wants to fuck that up. Garchomp is the posterboy for Game Freak possessing self-awareness of how to min-max a Pokemon.

Dragon/Water and Dragon/Steel are obligatory "really damn good type combos" for a pseudo. I'm hoping they'll start moving away from Dragons, Metagross was a start- but the past 4 have been Dragons, they seemed to have given up on that. Dragons already have the highest average BST, (inb4 a Fairy Pseudo that fucking wrecks the meta.)

I forgot that fairies makes it less of a threat, although Kommo-o has bigger issues than just fairies. Its stats and movepool is a mess. It makes no sense they'ell make a Dragon/Fighting psudeo too balanced when that type combo would never shine in a Fairy invested metagame. They could've at least made it more broken than Garchomp.

That would make sense. I wish the Dex entries were longer and would go into more detail about their behavioral/hunting/feeding patterns, and their place in the food chain. Sun and Moon is definitely a step in the right direction, Game Freak is finally showing they're not afraid of admitting that Pokemon do eat/kill each other on a regular basis. Previously they would almost exclusively only mention bird pokemon preying on bugs, since I guess bugs being killed is A-ok.

I agree that it doesn't look very "electric" aesthetically, but I would buy it if it was from the get-go. It does seem to be a robot of sorts after all. If it was designed with Electric in mind it would have something to it to convey that to the player.

Dark? Because it's calculating, likely has little emotional input in it's decision making and it can be cruel in dispatching an enemy/prey? Dark has always been a flexible theme, I suppose I could see it.

I could definitely see Fighting with it's large arms.

If it kept a more "floating" design like Metang, I could see Steel/Flying.

If it had a sort of "engine" incorporated into it I could see it being Steel/Fire.

If the psychic link aspect was replaced by "magical powers" I could see Steel/Fairy.

As shitty as it'd be mechanically, I can definitely see it being Steel/Rock.

No, I'm asking if we got the best stats of each and put them together on a pokemon.

I looked it up and it would be
Garchomp's 108 HP
Salamence's 135 ATK
Metagross' 130 DEF
Hydreigon's 125 SPA
Goodra's 150 SPD
and Garchomp's 102 SPE

For a combined total of 750 BST, close to what >>31791428 said (I gues he wasn't counting metagross, kommo-o has the next highest defense at 125 and who can fault him for not including mega gross).

Including megas, we change the attack for M-Garchomp's 170, the defense for M-Tyranitar's 150, and the speed for M-salamence's 120, for a 83 increase on the theoretical mega-suerpseudo.
