Timid Kartana can be good actually. If you can get it's attack low enough, it will gain speed on a KO with beast boost instead of Attack.

19 IV Timid is the bare minimum for your Speed to be higher than your Attack. That way, your Beast Boost increases your Speed instead of your Attack, which some people prefer.

a 19 attack IV with a timid nature gives you 1 more speed than attack when leveled / trained, so you get speed beast boosts instead of attack ones.
It's a dumb idea, but it's what people are talking about.

Welp, did a quick check on the PC judging feature, and it has a "Best" in Speed and seems to be just shy of "Best" in Attack... Pretty sure it's more than 19 though.
