If it doesn't get OHKO'd by them it will haze and then switch to a different pokemon to activate regenerator. And then they'll predict the switch and send it out and then recall it to recover another 33%.

Landorus-T is a necessary evil. So many other things would get out of hand without it. It's not like it's some unbeatable beast either. It's got a lot of versatility and surprise factor but it's still got a shitload of weaknesses.
