Are you implying there was anything more noteworthy about Looker in Platinum compared to his later appearances other than the fact that he recurs throughout the game, rather than being shoved exclusively into the postgame? Because he didn't really have any "character" aside from being a quirky investigator with a comically loose grasp on Japanese. He acts the same in every game, they just stopped writing him like an awkward foreigner.
