Soft resetting for the entire Regi-Family, I managed to get Regirock on 252 resets but Registeel took 812 and I'm worried it's only going to go downhill

I got a carvana with chain fishing on Oras. After that I got a rockruff via SOS. The only reason I went for it was because my friend was hunting for it for 2 days and still got nothing :^) After that I got a psyduck via SOS. I did this in about 5 hours. My friends always get anoyed when we hunt together because ''I always get the shinies''. But how lucky am I really? Anyway good luck hunting :)

Finally got my shiny Dhelmise after 404 eggs. Big shout out to the generous anon that wonder traded me a shiny Rockruff. Not sure what I'm going for next. Maybe a Charmander. Little dude and I go way back.

This thread literally would have fallen off page 10 if it wasn't for OP bumping it after hours of literally nobody posting. It's dead, barely got 2/3rd's through it's lifespan because, lo and behold, nobody has time to shiny hunt during the weekdays. What you say is true, but the problem is, should Generals exist for a minority? A General exists because a lot of people warranted a regular thread for a topic. Is there enough people Shiny Hunting daily to justify there being a Shiny Hunt thread every single day? Well this thread which has been up for half a week, with multiple periods of completely dead hours, doesn't seem to prove that there are a ton of people interested in posting about this during the week.

I've not really seen this at all. Especially the shitposting stuff.

Having bad OP posts can disrupt a thread, and having a supposed Shiny Hunt Weekend thread posted on Thursdays can only disrupt things further. Especially when last time this happened, the OP all but admitted he did it just to piss people off.

The reason people like the weekend threads is because, beyond the fact that they're actually active, it stops the threads from becoming a cancerous or zombielike daily general. That's why there is a stigma against these weekday threads, and the rest of the community, in the discord and not, ignore these ones.

Basically, you have your Jap Ditto holding the Knot and give him to the breeder. Never take him out. You save the game in front of the breeder before placing your dummy Magikarp in. Collect 30-60 eggs, however many you feel like. Take the Magikarp out and hatch all those eggs. If you don't find a shiny, just rinse and repeat. Save in front of the breeder then give back the Karp and collect more eggs all over again

IF you do find a shiny in your lot of eggs, you take notice of which egg it was. If you collected 30, hatch along, and #18 ends up being shiny, you soft reset. Do not save when the shiny comes through. When you soft reset, you start in front of the breeder. You hand the Karp in and collect that imaginary number of eggs before the shiny. It came at 18, collect 17 and pick the Karp back up. Hatch all those eggs since you'll be releasing them anyway. Finally, save in front of the lady, and place the Pokémon in that you want a shiny of. Normally, you put something in like a Rowlet or a Caterpie or fucking whatever isn't 100% Female, Male, or Genderless, you collect one single egg and it's a shiny

Since you're going for Beldum, you hand in your Beldum. Make sure it's got the Everstone for the Nature you want. You walk around till the Egg shows up. You decline that egg. Don't take it. You walk around till another Egg is made. Collect and hatch. Boom, new shiny Beldum
