Verlis shitter not welcome.

>Maranga Berry
you know, mega gallade is a thing right?
>>31778071
Not in SM
This set actually has more bulk than mega gallade with the berry.
>>31778071
You know that mega gallade isn't released?
>>31778060
hi Verlis
>>31778128
It looks weird on paper but has good results, that's why it's a gimick. We don't get a lot of our old megastones so it's good to be creative. This set isn't anywhere near the level of shit that furfag makes.
>>31778168
True, I can at least see some situations where a bulky Gallade might be useful. Unlike fury cutter Venusaur.
>>31778168
I have limited experience using Gallade, but doesn't he suffer more widespread threats on the physical side?
What special hits is he tanking where the berry really makes a difference?
>>31778217
Well if you really want more physical bulk you could replace the Maranga Berry with leftovers or kee berry.
The idea of this set is to send it in on a resisted special hit, grab the buff from the berry then either set up a bulk up or recover your hp with drain punch. If you can play around it properly you can get +3 with bulk up and the berry in one turn making it a huge threat that can soak up hits. Steadfast is there incase a month try to use fake out in which you get a speed buff.

Here's a replay of this gallade in the battle tree, I know it doesn't mean much because it's not competitive but it showcases it's bulk.
Here's another good gimick set for hydreigon.
Hydreigon @ Razor Claw
Ability: Levitate
Level: 50
EVs: 28 HP / 52 Def / 252 SpD / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Roost
- Focus Energy
Works similar to kinda but with more bulk.

Kingdra*
Corsola (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Lax Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 SpD
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Power Gem
- Mirror Coat
My mucho autistic corsola set
Works pretty well, nobody expects the mirror coat since noone uses corsola and it takes physical hits pretty well
I usually send this thing out first. stealth rocking if its a physical threat or mirrorcoating if special
If its brought down to it's sash i can switch and use it later. Scald helps it even more with physical attackers, and power gem cause fuck birds and charizard

This set looks pretty good, but why power jem over toxic? It looks like it's set up to be an annoyer/pivot?
>>31778060
Here's a set that I ran in ORAS OU
Gallade (M) @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Close Combat
- Taunt
Sometimes you can substitute a move for Destiny Bond if you feel spicy
>>31778725
Yeah thats pretty much what it is, Didn't really feel putting toxic on it because I like having the burn chance with scald but also I had another pokemon on my team for toxic so didnt feel necessary
Also fuck captcha
>>31778732
I was back and forth on running will-o-wisp on the set I posted in the OP, this is one of those situations where 4-moveslot syndrome is a factor.
Cacturne @ Focus Sash
Sucker Punch
Counter
Seed Bomb
Swords Dance
I received it from a trade on Smogon during gen 4. It was great to use in wi-fi battles on PBR.
>>31778743
Fair enough, I was thinking toxic would be better for the chance you run into shit like alomomola or another wall/pivot like chansey.
>>31778774
Nah yeah it makes sense, might try it sometime, but i've never gotten into a sticky situation with corsola rest of my team usually supports it well enough
