Kingdra is damn good in the rain.

I'm going with Heliolisk. I gave it an air balloon and Dry Skin so I could switch in on ghost, water, or ground type moves. Definitely has come through in the clutch.

I use choice specs modest swift swim kingdra on my drizzle team, it one shots most things as long as tapus are off the field.

85 Base Attack boosted with Guts, using STAB Facade with 125 speed can do good amounts of damage. Give it access to Brave Bird and U-turn, and it can hit a lot of things for SE damage. It won't be OHKOing everything, but it's not bad.
Then there's the Boomburst set too. I'd say after the Talonflame nerf, it's the second best regional birb.

Going with Kabutops. With Weak Armor giving it plus two boosts now it effectively has Shell Smash if hit with a contact move while using SD on the same turn. Picked up some good late game sweeps with it.

Was going to post this. Maybe it's because I ran monobug, but I loved leading with armaldo back in gen 5. Frail taunters got smashed with stone edge, or it could use stealth rock/rapid spin to set the field.

I was just extremely disappointed by its ability. I wish they gave it storm drain like cradily, because it is a sea creature that's weak to water. Otherwise it's so slow even with swift swim activated, it gets outsped.
