I may try Knock Off now that you mention it, though. I'll see which one works better, but I've been getting a lot of good use out of Aqua Jet.

This is a Doubles OU team.

Not having Protect on Ninetales is really bad, but I don't know what to remove. Blizzard is really good and Freeze-Dry hits Pelipper and other stuff for 4x.

Also Tailwind could be useful on Salamence, but again, I don't know what move I shouldn't use.

Very well I must say, it instakills megagross even before transforming and not having the secondary move feels wrong. I know that I don't have zen headmiss on Megagross but honestly that one is barely ever useful.
Also, I don't want to have more than one choice item in my team.

This used to be my gen 6 team (took a break from competitive during ORAS, hence why Greninja is there and doesn't have gunk shot)
I did fairly well, how well would this team do in Tapus and UBs: the meta?

See, the thing is, if I have greninja out, chances are I'm gonna get OHKO'd by scarf U-turn and if it's not scarf they're gonna switch out. MAYBE with megagross they don't expect it, but again, if it's scarf I might get oneshot by EQ. SD is not a bad idea tho.

I think I faught this team on ladder earlier today, or at least something that looks extremely similar. Toad is bad, also stop running Life Orb on Ash Gren. Anything but Specs on Ash Gren is bad, it misses vital 2HKOs and OHKOs without it. I'd recommend trying out Kingdra over Toad and Magnezone over Kabutops, your team is hard walled by Ferrothorn and opposing Sciz.

Looking for some input on a potential TR team. Basically I want to build a team around Slowbro/M Slowbro and trick room seems like the best way to do that since I fucking hate stall. Here's what I have so far, Porygon2 is there for trick room and alolamuk counters tapus/opposing psychic or ghost types. I'm just wondering what else I should add? I'm thinking Alola Marowak for electric immunity and to counter bulky steel/grass types, as well as something with ground immunity.

Also, is Porygon2 the best TR user as of now, or should I consider something else? I mainly play battlespot doubles if that helps.

Earthquake is objectively better on mudsdale, though you should replace it with lando-t
Focus blast and a hidden power on Raichu over fake out and protect

-Hydro Pump is mandatory on Specs BB Greninja, replace Scald. Change Grass Knot to Ice Beam.
-Knock off over Superpower on Mamoswine, Superpower is redundant with EQ
-Will-O-Wisp on Rotom-Wash over Signal Beam. Nothing relevant is weak to bug right now.
-Holy fucking shit, choice band marowak? You know Thick Club works on A-Marowak, right? Change Knock Off to EQ, too.

I'll be constructive for him:
-All Levels to 100. Everyone else fights with Level 100s.
-Speed and Attack on Absol, not defenses. Give it a mega stone and Knock off over Zen Headbutt.
-Leftovers on Cradily, remove EVs from Sp. Atk and put into Sp. Def, it's a special meta and cradily is a defensive Pokemon, not offensive. Replace Ancientpower with Toxic, Replace Sludge Bomb with Recover.
-Trick Room on Reuniclus, don't use a pokemon as fast as comfey for trick room
-Leftovers on Lapras, nothing runs grass and weakness berries are trash. Remove Safeguard for Freeze-Dry.
-Don't give +natures to stats you don't invest in. Why does Comfey have a +nature on an uninvested stat? Especially speed on a Pokemon with Trick Room.


You've got a LONG way to go if you want to be competitive, but that's a good start. You should lose less games if you follow what I've said. I don't have the time to fix everything about that team.

Oh, one more thing! Brave Bird and Poison Jab over Sludge Bomb and Air Slash, the only reason people use special moves on Crobat is nasty plot. If you wanna go special, go Heat Wave, Air Slash, Sludge Bomb and Nasty Plot, but currently you want 252 Speed, 252 ATK and 4 HP with Jolly, or split ATK and HP's EVs. Z-Brave Bird would dinkle super hard on anything

My VGC team on cart and getting my ass handed to me. Thinking of swapping Bulu for Lele, though part of me feels I need to use something really fast(or use after you on lilligant).

The team itself is fine, you just need to change the moves around.

Give Lilligant After You, it's insanely important for speed control with Torkoal.
Give Torkoal at least one spread fire move. Eruption is best, heat wave is fine.
Get rid of swords dance on some others, make room for protect. Protect is vital in VGC.

Give ninetales HP ground, all of the pokemon strong against it are poison, steel and fire, which are all weak to ground (especially Heatran)
