If the Battle Frontier ever returns, do you think we'd get new Ribbons for every facility that it holds? Both for Normal and Super Mode, like with the Battle Maison and Battle Tree?

I'm really hoping so, I love Ribbons.

I can't find the fucking picture but I have a shone gen 6 sandslash (with a shit bold nature but ohwell.jpeg) with all gen 6 ribbons except super battle maison, I'll transfer her to gen 7 once I've done that which will probably be in a few thousand years
Might get gen 7 ribbons on a shone alola slash I'll breed to go with it if I ever replay sun moon

But back then the Battle Tower was the only facility to ever have had any ribbons. Now we have multiple others.

They DID remove all the old Tower Ribbons in the same way they removed all the old Contest Ribbons, except they didn't replace them with something new. It wouldn't make sense for them to remove the Tower Ribbons just to re-add them again later.

Imagine if they put a factory ribbon in the code alongside an all facility ribbons ribbon but the inability to use your own mons means you can't get either.

Still taking my time playing Colosseum, is Mt Battle the best place to grind? I just got to Realgam Tower and my team is level 43 or less.

Finally got the Expert Battler Ribbon, and also got the Alola Champ ribbon today. I'm currently working on the Battle Royale and Battle Tree. I know Life Orb+SD+Explosion Silvally can get the first one, but what's a good team for the Battle Tree?

I wouldn't rule it completely out. We did get Ribbons for Amie and Super Training. The more questionable piece is whether the minigames will be as painfully boring as Amie and Super Training or as brain-dead easy as ORAS Contests.

Finally got my Hasty Swablu in Colosseum. Still a long way off from getting any ribbons on it, need to complete this and Emerald now.

I've got a Togekiss I've transferred up through the gens that has every single possivle ribbon on it right now save for the Battle Tree ones.

Does anyone have any good Battle Tree teams that could perhaps carry it through? I've heard things like Mimikyu and Salamence could work but I'm unsure.

As long as you have one in hand when you find the Teddiursa there shouldn't be a problem.

But iirc it's a pain to go for a shiny in that game due to having to catch the pokemon and check it for the shiny status everytime.

ok, you've all got me wanting to try this now. all i'm missing is coliseum an the gba-> Gamecube cable. i'll get those today after work. the question is, should I do it with a Pokemon that'll actually be useful? or should I use a dunsparce or Mr. Stake?

Just collection purposes really. If you have interest in ribbons at all, they're just fun to collect. They're just kind of like achievement stamps for a Pokemon.

imo it's more like a trophy in a sense. Anyone can beat the E4, contests, and/or the Battle facilities at least once (and earn 1 of their ribbons). But it's quite an accomplishment to obtain all of the ribbons on a single mon (or even multiple mons), especially if you're using a shitmon.
