You're gonna want to snag a Slowpoke from the well in Azalea, either way you evolve it will work

Then headbutt trees for ten days until you get a Heracross

Then steamroll the game with those two until you can snag a Swinub from Ice Path, evolve to Mamoswine and destroy the rest

You really only need those three, catch a legendary dog and a Gengar if you really want
