Ariados. Cool design, cool cry, and one of the best Johto Pokemon. Doomed to have bad stats to the point of being near unworkable aside from a gimmick set. One of Guzma's main Pokemon and it got a stat buff along with a new move, but it still sucks. Ariados just sucks.

Honest question, what did you expect when you first saw Fennekin? And what exactly made you upset over them?

I guess I'm on the exact same boat as you, except replace Braixen and Delphox with Brionne and Primarina (much less Brionne because I still find it cute, but more Primarina). Typing is a entirely different subject, but design wise, I just can't, simply said. But just like you, I legitimately don't dislike any pokemon either other than them.

I love Audino and it's mega's stats put it on the same level as regigigas. All it needed was recover and regenerator as it's abillity but noo. We cant have nice things.

I'm generally very open when it comes to using mons especially news ones (which is why no one disappointed me, I was expecting mediocrity and that's what I got with few exceptions). But never have I hated something more then this. Even with the buff it got, it's still not enough.
I sometimes just pretend Xatu is Johto's regional bird. Unfezant can get all the shit it wants, but this one takes the cake.

Noctowl's stats are disappointing, but I love it for its use of Hypnosis. Was a staple for my Johto team, purely for usefulness in catching other Pokemon.

And I generally hate two-stage evolutionary lines. Feels like I'm failing to fill my dex fast enough.

In competitive she's no good but I had a lot of fun using Lurantis in Battle Tree.

Noivern and Heliolisk in Gen 6.
I was actually pleasantly surprised by Avalugg. It's got *some* niche use. Not much, and is basically a one-trick pony, but it's easy to score one KO with it. After that, you're fucked, though.

But Noivern is basically a worse Crobat, and Heliolisk has three niches, and it's outclassed in each one.

I love how bulky Gliscor is, but I've never been able to get it to deal anywhere near a useful amount of damage. Even after a Swords Dance, everything walls it.

Reuniclus and Beeheeyem, too. Beeheeyem is outclassed by 5 whole gens of Psychic types, and Reuniclus is just depressingly average.
