As someone who started with gen 1, I still have an instinctive fear of psychic types. I know they're far from unstoppable these days, but I still find myself prioritizing dark moves whenever I'm building a team. I always get halfway though and suddenly realize I've got crunch or knock-off on five sixths of my mons.

I approve of this. Psychic and Fairy are my respective #1 and #2 types, but even I agree Fairy as a type is overpowered. I'd also remove Steel's resistance to Psychic at the least (weakness is a pretty big stretch).

not really. knockoff is everywhere, and plenty of good pokemon are dark type. doesn't stop megavoir or tapu lele, but those are individual cases, not so much an issue with the whole type.
