B2W2 alleviate this by opening the dex and giving you some toys in the form of usable Volcarona and Braviary/Mandibuzz

There's this "refined taste" when you grow up, but there's always a first impression on a game that makes you like it or dislike it. I disliked Black and White 2 but after coming back to it I enjoyed it for what it was.
