Bought this game last weekend for $25. My friends told me not to expect much, but honestly, it's a lot of fun
>Bunch of ways you can interact with Pokémon to make them pose. For example in the first level if you lead Pikachu over to the surfboard with apples he will stand on it and do flips.
>Can check your best scores at the menu. This helps you see where you can improve.
>There are ways to make Pokémon evolve.
>Certain Pokémon have funny reactions (Jigglypuff gets mad when you play the poke flute).
Overall the game is a lot of fun and something different happens every time you go through a level. Why is it almost never mentioned in best n64 game lists? I believe this was the first spin off in the series and some people expecting something different than a photography simulator. Only problem I had with the game is that it's short.
>tfw the closest we get to a sequel is the Poke Finder in Sun/Moon
Well... better than nothing...
The only explanation I can have for it not being on lists of best games are that whoever made those lists are punkass bitches.
I still can't believe they never cashed in on a sequel for the Wii U with it's gamepad, it was the perfect fit for another game.
I think in one interview they asked Masuda why they didn't, and he gave some classic GF bullshit excuse like 'oh, well, everyone has a camera phone now, ergo nobody would want to play a game about taking photos!'

That would be the perfect excuse. Hell, Go could have been a Snap sequel.
When I was a kid I had this giant box I decorated to be like the thing you ride around in. I had a bag of apples and I'd pretend to throw them at Pokemon while playing. It was maximum comfy

Holy shit that does sound comfy.
>throw an apple at the cat
>snap a pic
I know that it's been done before, but I've been trying to do a Minecraft map of the first four gens' regions (laid over an edit of a map of Japan). And maybe it's stupid, but I want to add the Pokemon Snap island somewhere, with a railcart ride through all the areas... maybe with some kind of means of switching into new areas...

That sounds super autistic but I wish you well
