It's kind of strange to me that I adore Buzzwole and hate Incineroar.

Dunno why you'd have to like Incineroar and Buzzwole at the same time. Aside from being red hand to hand fighters, they have little in common. Buzzwole has liquid filled, bulging muscles, Incineroar has a broad, flat chest and a kind of "play doh" looking body. Buzzwole has clearly shown, large humanoid fists, while Incineroar has splayed, clawlike hands. Buzzwole is a macho bugman and Incineroar is a (little less) macho catman. Very different.

I got Moon then proceeded to trade for 8 Buzzwole via the Oranguru train when the GTS wasn't bankshit.

Buzzwole is one of those pokemon that's only "ok" in battle compared to others, but is so fucking cool I have to use it anyway.

Bug types got it good this gen.

I'm the same way. For me at least it's because Buzzwole is less humanoid than Incineroar and just has a more interesting design.

Incineroar just looks like they made the body out of putty and the fingers are too fat to make a proper fist. Not saying it's terrible but it's not strange to dislike it in comparison to the punching bugman.
