If only Hoenn had better moves I'd say it was on par with Unova but Gen 5 really outclassed everything else. New games seriously need to focus on new original pokemon. I thought Gen 5 would set that precedent but 6 and 7 has been so lackluster and full of Gen 1 pandering. 7 has a good number of great designs though.
