That doesn't save the games from being shit though. They might regain their glory in terms of visuals but stuff like story, gameplay, new mons etc. will never be the same again. Pokemon is dying and no one can save it.

With that said, I want my sprites back. BW was perfect.

Pokémon doesn't need a dramatic mechanic change or anything to be great again. The core gameplay itself gets better with every installment and all the designs are good. Game Freak just needs to spent a little more dev time on extra content. And maybe fix the framerate. They're probably one of the top 10 richest studios in the world so they should be able to do this. I don't know why they haven't.

I don't think you understand how game development teams work. They don't have the programmers making sprites or models. They have artists to do that.

Pokemon is not dying. The sales of Sun and Moon definitely indicate that. However things about pokemon are changing. All I really want from Gamefeak is a game that has more adventuring and of a less linear path.
