Older Pokemon get the Tapu's Surges in Generation 8

>vileplume gets poison terrain
>boosts damage of poison moves by 50%, moves that poison badly poison instead, and fairy moves do half damage

>dusknoir gets ghost terrain
>boosts damage of ghost moves by 50% and pokemon that flinch take damage (because they are so scared), or perhaps sleeping pokemon take damage (because of nightmares, it would be less powerful than nightmare itself though), or confused pokemon can't retreat (they are too scared!) Something to do with status ailments

>skuntank gets dark terrain
>raises dark moves by 50%, halves psychic moves, and lowers accuracy of all moves, or perhaps only all non-dark moves, 1 stage (because it is too dark to see)

>dragon terrain goes to dunsparce
>dragons gain HP every turn and have sp def or def increased by 50%, halves the power of ice moves

Dark isn't darkness, it's more like being shady and tricky. Maybe dark terrain could look like a shady alley?
