I don't think there will be any new Ultra Beasts in future games, unless they have us going back to Alola. To me, Ultra Beasts are a legendary group much like a trio or quartet, and introducing more would seem overkill. It'd be like if Gen 6 had two extra Swords of Justice.

It's kind of different since These 7 are basically Pokemon from another completely untapped dimension whereas the swords of justice are just a group of regular pokemon.

Ultra Beasts is a term for every Pokemon from that dimension, Swords of Justice is a term for 4 specific Pokemon.

I'm not sure. From what I've gathered, the evidence can go either way.

Ingame, they're theorized to be UBs by some characters. Additionally, their stats are all prime numbers, just like the confirmed UBs. Also, they learn all their moves at levels that are prime numbers, which is also just like the UBs.

On the other hand, they don't have Beast Boost as their abilities, they don't have auras like the UBs when encountered, and Beast Balls aren't especially useful for catching them.

All things considered, I personally believe they are UBs, but I won't vehemently defend that, because it's not completely confirmed.

Personally, I agree with you that they're related to UBs somehow. Let's not forget, Cosmog can open Ultra Wormholes. If it wasn't related to the UBs, it'd be a bit weird to just have that ability out of nowhere.

Necrozma also fits in the same pattern- prime number stats, prime number level-up moves. All the UBs, Cosmog and its evos and Necrozma also have the same sound at the end of their cry. It's theorised in-game to be related, but never confirmed, but the evidence is enough for me.

(Speaking of Necrozma, once I discovered that Ten Carat Hill is based on the Diamond Head volcano in Hawaii, suddenly the location for him makes sense, instead of being random. Diamonds behave toward light like prisms, so that's what they were going for. It should've had a special cave and an overworld sprite, but that's too bad.)
