I like all of the gen 4 starters' final stages
I think all three gen 7 starters are mediocre in their final stages by starter standards
I actually used Popplio in my own run simply because my friend chose litten first
I used Chespin in my one and only Y run, but ended up boxing it before it evolved
I love all of the gen 3 starters equally, but I technically used them in this order: mudkip, torchic, and treecko

I seem to have mixed opinions on Grass, mostly neutral or positive on Fire and very skewed opinions on Water
That makes sense, I think most Grass starters are okay (except Chikorita, which is awful but I like it designwise)
I like every Fire starter to some degree at least
I absolutely adore Totodile, Mudkip and Popplio (who was beaten out by Rowlet just barely) and HATE Piplup, Oshawott and Squirtle

I hated gen 4 and gen 5 starters. At least the final evolved forms of gen 6 starters (excluding that grass thing) looked cool.
