We're in the Canalave Gym and overleveled as fuck, but that's what happens when you're the only one left to battle literally everything.

Don't mind TheCarrier, he's dead and only remains so I can Surf to places. Same with Farore the Girafarig, she's going to be my Strength/Rock Smash HM slave. Idk what's gonna be in the Egg but I'm sure looking forward to hatching it to only have it die immediately after.

I've decided I'm doing a shinylocke in my SS, just for the reason that I got the cute charm glitch to work after a month of soft resetting. This is my first nuzlocke ever, so I hope it's as fun as some people say it is.

I lost a bunch of leveled Pokemon to Cyrus in Celestic with only Torterra as a survivor, and I got so distracted feeling bad about them that I accidentally closed the game instead of minimizing. I hadn't saved since grinding before Crasher Wake's Gym. So, I asked the last /nuzgen/ thread what I should do, and the suggestion was to just use the Pokemon I had to get back to where I fucked up, and from there drop the ones that were supposed to be dead. I kept Torterra in the lead for everything and he just got overleveled from there.

Not sure where else to ask this question, I typically allow trading for the purpose of evolution in my nuzlocke runs, is there any way to do trade evolutions on Pokemon Sun without also having to just own Moon and trade back and forth between the two games like I've done since I was a kid?

Update before I leave for work.
Beat whatsherface at the Electric Gym, was closer than anticipated because her Emolgas were spamming double team like absolute pussies, but still no losses.

Went to cold storage in the next city.
Was hoping for ice type, ended up with Minccino. Thankfully that allowed me to trade for a basculin with some kid, but I still would very much have rather had an Ice type in a place called fucking COLD storage.

About to delete my save file in Sun to try out a nuzzy. I am guessing I should be turning the exp share off and on so I don't over or underlevel.

There's no way to make a pokemon hold my mewnium z if it's not a mew right? Feels wasteful to delet, but Im home never gonna use it anyways.

Is there an online guide to find out what are different areas for encounters?

I am not in the mood to explore in game again, since those cut scenes will drive me mad to begin with.

I'd like to try a nuzlocke run, but I'm too much of a pussy to actually go through with it. What are some interesting softer variants?

Honestly, the default rules on some of the newer games are really easy. I think the difficulty is more based on what game you play and how well you know Pokemon.

I've tried it on Black but I got trashed by the time I reached the second gym. Maybe I just need to grind a bit more, but leveling felt super slow.

I hear X/Y is piss easy to Nuzlocke in classic rules.

Based on my personal experience so far Black/White is tough as fuck. Few catch opportunities, lots of dupes, Gym Leaders are fucking hellacious if you don't have type advantage.

Protip: if you run around in front of grass for a bit one of the patches will start shaking, move to it and you will have much greater odds of finding an Audino. They're basically EXP piñatas. Just be careful bacause later on they get some extremely annoying moves like secret power and Attract.

litten is probably the easiest, helps makes totem lurantis more manageable, fire types aren't widely available unless you luck out and get a growlithe early. the fire/dark offensive combo is GOAT

popplio i'd put mid-difficulty, if you can keep it alive the fairy type bonus is a+++. however water types are pretty widely available and you have to find coverage options for wishiwashi and lurantis

rowlet imho is the hardest, grass/flying leaves you with a 4x weakness and a few weaknesses to common stuff, grass/ghost isn't a great offensive combo, its stats are weird and all over the place and movepool coverage leaves something to be desired
