Constructive criticism:
You have the right idea, but doing it with a trade evo is a waste of time.
Pick a three-stage Pokemon that doesn't evolve from trade at all, starter lines are good but you still have a lot to work with.
The other thing you got wrong was to stick with the middle stage, but this ties into the next step, you should keep it at Level 99, not Level 100.
For example
>Shiny Bagon
>Level 99
>It will never become a shiny Salamence
Etc, etc.
It will be agonizing.
