Is it really that bad?
For soneone new to the franchise or just wanting something different to play, it's a good game. For a more die hard fan, it depends on why you play Pokemon. I play for the main game, for the sense of traveling with friends in an interesting virtual region. For me, XY is just okay. Everytime I play a new entry the first time it's great, but after repeat playthroughs, I can say this: the "story" and "friends" are very disappointing, the region is good enough-ish, the difficulty is too easy, and the sheer number of Pokemon make multiple playthroughs worth it if you just rush through, probably with a self-imposed challenge and a comfy podcast to listen to while you play. It's a solid video game, but a meh Pokemon game.
It was good enough for the first 3DS games, but incomplete. It sorely needed version Z.
Nah. It was worse.
It was. Now stop making this thread every two days.
It wasn't, just a bit too easy.
For some reason, the pokemon community has elitists who probably got booty blasted when xy opened up the community to a young audience once more.
But it's not that bad
