I've read that once you switch the time on your 3ds you can't use any of the facilities in Festival Plaza for up to 48 hours.
Doesn't really matter to me since I don't give two shits about festival plaza but if you are wanting to use it for dye shop purposes that might be an issue for you.

Doesn't mean you can't trade. It only locks you out of ingame time based events like the facilities but you can trade just fine.

oh i see what you're saying.
Why not just stockpile them in boxes and use pelago glitch though? It practically guarantees that you'll get a shiny with the nature and IVs you want, not that IVs are even relevant anymore. Only thing that even matters is nature.

to add to this I got pic related (as a charmander) yesterday after just 5 boxes, and you get 6-8 eggs for every 5 eggs you hatch so you can really get a lot of boxes in no time and then just use pelago glitch to hatch 18 at once when you are ready to dig into said boxes.

Yeah and then use the glitch, if you're doing it properly the eggs will be ready to hatch. rinse and repeat until shiny.

That's great. It'll save a lot of time since I usually need 1 minute per egg, sometimes two depending on the mon.

It still takes about 5-10 minutes to watch the hatching animations for 18 eggs so it can get tedious but it's definitely worth it.

Yep just letting it automatically hatch 18 eggs would be the dream, as would being able to mass release pokemon. How that isn't a feature yet is beyond me.
