I've been trying this team to varying success. Pheromosa kinda shits on it as Fini gets worn down through matches and so does ice punch Megagross which feels like is fucking everywhere, any suggestions on what I could adjust?

if you're really determined to use this garbage set give it like avalanche or something instead of ice shard or sleep talk. No reason for a bulky curse mon to have priority.

Also put the 252 in defense into special defense. You have curse to boost defense.

also jesus christ that ariados set is fucking awful just replace it with something else. Why bother using venom drench to drop stats if you don't have anything to actually take advantage of it.

Everything else is passable I guess but definitely suboptimal

I used this doubles team to get a few accounts into the 1300s
Never could get higher than that since Landorus and sometimes Kartana shuts this team down pretty hard.

Well your only options would be stuff like sticky web, thunder wave, icy wind, and bulldoze. T wave isn't used as much after the nerf and most people don't want to waste a team slot for a sticky web user.

2 Z moves because this isn't a 6v6 team and Kommo O and Mimikyu don't come in with each other.

Sitrus because Leftovers is slower than what I want Gastrodon to do. I don't plan on sitting on Gastrodon. Also, it's taken by Celesteela.

Rock Polish over Autotomize because I'm more concerned about the damage trades with Heavy Slam than Low Kick/Grass Knot.

AV Chomp because I can 2KO any of the Tapus (barring maxhp+def) without being OHK.

Greninja can really threaten the team
Pheromosa is barely a check

Are you trying to setup on another Dragon Type or Fairy Type. Just use Lum Berry/Life Orb and I recommend Poison Jab over Low Kick because of all the fairies as EQ can deal with Heatran but Low Kick does deal with Celesteela

why do you have eviolite on a magmar but have a -DEF nature on it
why does absol not have sucker punch, it's pretty much its only good move? also, it should be mega if you can use it. if not, then life orb is better than razor claw, it'll give you a more consistent damage boost.

you need something to setup xurkitree. xurkitree will never work if it doesnt have something to set it up. talonflame or whimsicott for tailwind works great with it.

also your magmar doesnt have max evs
and you dont need extra stab moves. magmar doesnt need 2 fire moves, and lele doesnt need 2 psychic moves. absol doesnt need psycho cut, lele does that.

Been running this in doubles for the longest time, now.

Inceneroar's surprisingly good with Flame charge. One he gets just higher then Lycanroc without sandstorms. Another one and he can outrun most threats.

My absol is running a set designed to get crits and nothing else. That's why i'm running cuper luck and razor claw over life orb.
Magmar is meant to be a mixed attacker hence the multiple stab.
Lele has two psychic attacks because one deals damage based on the foe's defense stat which can be helpful in certain situations.
though i didn't realize boober had incomplete stats. as for something to setup for xirkitree i don't even know what i'd run for it. I kind of like whimsicott but i don't know how to run one that won't make my opponents want to commit a murder suicide.

just to run dual stab for the purpose of being a mixed attacker

Why is Magmar physical when its capable of running a special set?

The entire point of a mixed attacker is for coverage that it lacks in its Physical/Special movepool

The main Xurkitree set people run is the scarf set
You can also try the Z-Hypnosis+Tail Glow/3 Attacks Set

Since I lead with Gialith and Lycanroc so often, I can usually take out Deoxys-A the turn it's sent out thanks ot Sandstorm and the high speed of Lycanroc with Sand Rush.

Surprisingly, as well, I don't have too much trouble with water or fighting types. My problem is, surprisingly enough, Landorus-T and Celesteela. Lycanroc in Sand storm outspeeds Scarfed Lando, which is really useful for outspeeding it, and really frustrating for gauging whether or not it has a scarf.

Dugtrio i gave it a z-move for a reason. Because sometimes you need a strong rock move and can't risk it missing.

Personally I'd replace the Magmar with a Talonflame, and give the Xurk a Sitrus Berry. Lets Talonflame Tailwind, then UTurn into Xurk, and the berry can heal if he took too much damage on the swap. Xurk has naturally huge SpA, so it doesn't need specs, etc.

That said, I don't like that much. Xurk isn't much good outside of doubles. Pelipper works great for this, since you can Tailwind+Protect, get the rain up for Thunder, then swap in Koko on the next turn for the terrain boost.

Replace Politoed with Pelipper. Give Persian Taunt and maybe toxic? Definitely taunt and another utility move. Surf is redundant on Kingdra, give it a hidden power. Subpunch Buzzwole is the only set, period. Depending on your elo, you might go for U-Turn on Tapu Koko to counter Dugtrio, though you should switch to LO over Specs. That's 1400+ stuff though, which I'm assuming you aren't.
