I had my 3DS stolen from me last year and I dont make enough to buy another one with student loans and taking care of family. I was so hyped for the trailers and haven't spoiled much of anything. Question is, should I try saving up for a 3ds and Pokemon Moon? It'll be about a years worth of savings but I figured you guys would know.

Buy a cheap 2DS for $80 or used (old) 3DS XL for $90 (est. prices). Buy a 64gb Micro SD card for .... $30? Probably less. Same price for a Flashcart+4gb card to play NDS games on your 3DS. Now pirate the console and store around 40 games at any time. It sucks that you got it stolen, you don't deserve to miss on games you love so much.

Came here to post this. A 3DS with cfw on it is very nice. Free 3DS games, running GB, GBA, NES, etc games, it's great.

They are not worth your money. I played pirated versions when the leaks happened and I am still very glad that I didn't purchase them.
PS: I love almost all of the Gen I to Gen VI games. SM just make me feel sad
...and bored.
