Random shinies in my dex?

OP here.

Also I don't cheat/glitch/whatever in any way, so it's not like I forgot I edited my save or something.

Have you scanned QR codes for island scan? Those can add shiny entries.

Like I said, I understand that for Grimer. But not Muk. And definitely not their non-Alolan forms. And after looking through my whole Pokédex I now have shiny Slowbro, Mega Slowbro, Slowking (not shiny but I'd never encountered one) and Hypno.

This doesn't make any sense. I've never battled online, used the GTS or WT, and the only person I trade with is my girlfriend, and I know she doesn't have these Pokémon.

Not sure how you would have seen a shiny non-alolan form, but there are Tourist NPCs with regular Ratattas, Raichus, Sandshrews etc. throughout the game. Not 100% if there is a Muk, but you could check Bulbapedo/Serebii to see if it's a possibility.

I had a shiny Kadabra in my dex out of nowhere for some reason. I wasn't even hunting for one, it just appeared.

Pokédex in Sun and Moon is a mess. I hope they fix this problem in Gen 8.

And also we want National Pokédex back!
