1. Choose up to 4 moves
2. Choose a type (only 1)
3. You can only use 1 move per post
4. Each anon has 10 HP, if you hit 0, you leave the thread.
5. Each attack based move does 1 dmg to the post before it, If super effective against the post, That anon takes 2 points dmg.
6. If secondary status can be afflicted, it activates on dubs. Status only moves such as thunder wave and spore work every time.
7. poison = 1 dmg per post, burn = no super effective hits against other anons, paralyze = move fails on odd posts, sleep = cant post until any anon rolls dubs
8. Trips = crits. double dmg for that post!

Totally up to suggestions and modification if this takes off!

Hmm, how about stats when activated (same ways as ailments) It can be used to double that stat, in this case double your dmg output. Can be stacked once until its removed. so you would have done 4 dmg to me right then. ouch.

Its caps out at dbl dmg, so someone cant knock out a anon in one hit. Kinda ruins the thread if its that quick. So here its, 1 dmg x 2 for boost, and x2 for it being super effective against me = 4 dmg.

If its small like leach seed, I could justify +1 hp per post for like 3 turns? Recover perhaps a instant 5 and Rest recovers all maybe. Still a new concept in the works here. Feel free to suggest.

This will work from here to prevent confusion. Buffs can max out at +2 for that stat. Each making 1 point diff. In moves that increase multiple stats, you get to choose the stat to increase +1.

Added some stuff to the rules, what do you think?
1. Choose up to 4 moves

9. Stat buffs max out at x2, atk doubles dmg, defense halves it, evasion requires your opponent to guess if their post is odd or even to hit you, accuracy nulls evasion/ guarantees next move will hit (maybe these should be active until it takes effect making using them more risky)
10. If an attack less than 100 accuracy you have to guess if your post is odd or even to hit.
11. OHKO moves require quads.

Some more complex status moves might also need their own rules, for example:
Sleep Talk last number determines what move you use
0-2 first move
3-4 second move

I like this or rest. Also what you said about OHKO moves needing, well lets say a trip if its declared. Accuracy wont matter for most moves, since they all do 1 dmg on base. Its for comedic effect. So fire blitz does the same dmg as ember.

Recoil being the only exception! They will add a bonus point of dmg, not affected by type res, while dealing the extra point to yourself. If played right, it could be a easy KO.

Perish song will be single target, and will flat out kill the target on the fifth move the target anon uses. The only way to save themselves and others affected by the song will be a dub post by anyone. (In theory, the more anons affected, the more "5 turn" limits can be used to help each other get the dubs if someone just spams it).

Safegaurd will only protect the user, and only for the following 3 posts. This will keep it from getting confusing.

Life orb works like recoil

Ring target lets ghost type moves hit normal types and vice versa, or maybe it lets you hit targets that are immune to you.

Gems deal double damage once.

Mega stones, type enhancing items and Z crystals don't exist.

Leftovers heals 1 hp.

Rocky helmet deals 1 hp,

I agree they shouldn't be brought in until later and abilities will need some work too, if they ever come in.

I think that does it for major status moves, how do the rules look?

10. Recovery
leach seed, +1 hp per post for 5 turns.
Recover, a instant +5 hp
Rest recovers all hp, but of course induces sleep.

11. Crit increase
focus energy stacks once, now critting with dubs. same with high crit moves. If both used together, crits hit on evens.

12. OHKO moves require trips to work.

13. Poison dmg
1 point for reg poison, 1 point from toxic, but goes to 2 points after the first time.

14. Future sight hits the anon 2 posts after that post.

15. Entry hazards

16.Infatuation
Works like confusion. There are no girls on the internet, so attract with work on any anon.
