Is this guy a decent threat on a Trick Room team?
No.
And before you ask: No.
He's definitely usable on a TR team, but there are usually better options as well. If you need strong Fighting and Ice moves he's a must-have.

His frail bulk makes it hard to switch in once TR has been set and, once TR wears off, he can't set it up. He could theoretically work with Life Orb or Expert Belt to hit even harder. Personally, I would go with Av-Conkledurr for my TR Fighting mon since he's still a threat outside of TR.

This.
It's attack is way too low. It would need to oneshot everything to be remotely useful. Even if you slap a band on it it will get walled by literally anything better.
If you give him a choice band, he's definitely extremely scary if he's able to tank the hit after switching in. He's got god tier move coverage too.

>Its Attack is too low
the fuck
You mean his Speed is too low, right?
>>31685012
No, its attack is too low.
Its speed is horseshit, and its attack doesn't make up for it. If it was meant to be a one-hit wonder glass cannon, then it's not strong enough to be useful even with focus sash.
>>31684361
No. Just use Conkledurr, it's literally worse than the concrete clown in every single way.
>>31684361
in doubles maybe. singles expect to get destroyed. I want to say pair with orangu maybe
>>31684412
>>31684401
so an attack of 132 is too low? it's only 8 points off Conkeldurr, exactly how high are your expectations?
There are a fucking ton of good trick room fighting types. Crabominable is not one of them. It's not even the best trick room fighting type of this generation.
>>31685588
But Conkeldurr has guts + can be useful without trick room, making it way better than Crabominable's shitty Iron Fist
>>31685649
so in other words the only way Crabominable can be saved is if it gets every possible priority move, or a mega assuming they ever make more, or another stat buff by like 20-30 points
Maybe he's bad in singles, but in doubles I've never lost a match with sash crab with porygon 2 as a setter aside from the one guy to taunt porygon. He reliably oneshots a lot of mons, and even does decent damage to things that resist the hammer, like primarina.this was on battlespot, so make of that what you will.nonetheless, he worked very well for me, although I used him as a lead, because he usually cannot take more than one hit, so switching is unlikely, but he can definitely do some damage before leaving.
