Leaf Storm, Dragon Pulse, and HP Fire are all it really needs. Contrary is balanced out by its shallow movepool.

Not him but I personally would love if serperior was a grass/dragon, to take STAB on dragon pulse and -potentially- get flamethrower and/or draco meteor (see: alolan exeggutor).

Grass/dragon is not much better than pure grass defensively, but it has quad-resists instead of regular resists, which is something considering serperior is built defensively.

Contrary leaf storm AND draco meteor would be incredibly redeeming for a mon that otherwise gets walled by steel types or a meme sap sipper azumarill and has null coverage.

Serperior is fine as is. It's a good sweeper in spite of a terrible movepool, lead storm and dragon pulse with your choice of hidden power is perfectly fine coverage. Some Pokemon can be good without big movepools.
