I think what caused Speed Creep are hard hitting Pokemon with wide coverage/movepools.

Was it doubles? I use a 252 def/252 sp def Sassy Tangrowth partnered with Oranguru.

Field Warper - Sets a different Room effect based on how many Pokemon are out
2 or less - Trick Room
3 - Magic Room
4 or more if Triples return - Wonder Room

Garchomp is honestly bulky enough to take at least a hit unresisted, once you don't have a reliable Ice Shard and the pressure ramps up, playing around it becomes necessary/saving some sort of wall

That's not how you solve the problem though. You solve the problem by making sure that Pokemon that are extremely fast don't have movepools that are too wide or abilities that are too good for their role and other shit I don't want to get into right now. Why is Game Freak so ass backwards and lazy when it comes to balancing? They always do things in extremes. It's like they don't know what moderation is.
