Gunk Shot and Close Combat would make it more threatening. Drain Punch and Mach Punch would make it better defensively.

Elemental punches would help a ton, but Close Combat and Gunk Shot are the big ones IMO. Fighting type is useful, but Kommo-o can't take advantage of it.

Agree on the rest, it's an ugly design but it seems like it's where pseudos are going since Hydreigon.

Shell Smash

All it literally needs is Shell Smash. The rest of it's movepool could remain exactly the same and it'd still be a monster as long as it got Shell Smash.

Garchomp happened.

I attempt to use him in Smogon. Mixed Physical and Special with special . He works occasionally, most people are thrown off when he's even used, but fairy fucks his shit up.

Clanging Scales is an amazing move tho.

All it needs is Shell Smash to be solid UU aka the best and most fun tier.

It has a light case of Kyruem-B syndrome where all of its good STABs are special.
