There are no robot Pokemo-
All of these pokemon are alive. The only pokemon that would fall under this category is Porygon
>>31671577
>Magnemite
>>31671573
>Alive
What? How do any of these qualify as alive?
>>31671573
>they're all alive so they don't count
What did he mean by this?
>>31671577
There were literally only six Steel types in Gen 2.
>>31671597
There are sentient beings.
>>31671546
Golems aren't robots.
>>31671624
>Robots can't have sentience
>>31671624
So just cause they think they don't count as robots
>one is literally a machine powered up by a Philosopher's Stone
Hello grand A autism.
>>31671626
Its Japanese name is golem cyborg. It's supposed to be a mech with the origins of a golem.
>>31671624
>Sentient
Uh, no. Also, not how being alive is classified.
>>31671633
Of course they can't.
>>31671708
Agreed
>tfw F-00 will never be a real pokemon
I love him so fucking much, please GF.
Robotic in design and lore:
>Golurk
>Magearna
Robotic in design but mysterious lore:
>Magnezone
>Metagross
>Klinklang
Robotic in lore but not design:
>Electrode
>Porygon-Z
Robotic in design but not lore:
>Registeel
>Rotom?
>Solgaleo
>Xurkitree
>Celesteela
Cyborg:
>Genesect
>Silvally
>>31671762
>Registeel
It's was made by a pokemon, so it is still artificially made, it counts as much as Magearna and Golurk. Golems are just magic robots
>>31671573
>>31671624
are you implying that porygon is non-sentient? because it seems to be just as sentient as any of the pokemon in op's pic.
>>31671800
If we're going to count Registeel, we'd have to include Regirock and Regice. As far as I know, they're all just animated chunks of rock/ice/metal in the shape of a biped. If we count them, that also leads the way for things like Claydol to count.
>>31671804
To be fair, Nihilego's Pokedex Entry has implications of Pokemon being non-sentient in nature. There is room to argue that a being made from the coding of the late 90s in non-sentient.
It mostly depends on what you define as "robotic".
Klinklang and Magnezone supposedly are a byproduct of human activity in the same way stuff like Grimer is. However, no one knows what exactly gives them sentience.
If Bulbapedo is right about saying Beldum is based on dumbbells, then Metagross forms part of this too.Otherwise I don't know what the fuck it's supposed to be.
Golurk and the Regis are golems: basically, magic robots. They're unlikely to have any mechanical components.
Magearna is a clockwork automaton. Nothing too high tech, but it's still a robot.
Porygon is some sort of sentient program that somehow is able to manifest itself in the real world.
Genesect is a cyborg, so not a robot even if it looks like one.
Tl;Dr - there ARE robot Pokémon, just not the futuristic kids you usually see in movies.
The closest thing we have to that is F-00 and it's not even a Pokémon.GF pls ;_;

I think all 3 of these are ayylmao robots.
Juniper talking about Klink:
>This cave has been around since the distant past, but… Data to prove that Klink existed more than a hundred years ago can't be found. So that must mean… Klink suddenly appeared a hundred years ago!
Magnezone's Moon dex:
>As it zooms through the sky, this Pokémon seems to be receiving signals of unknown origin, while transmitting signals of unknown purpose.
And the Beldum line has only ever naturally been found in areas with Clefairy and the 3 meteor Pokemon (Giant Chasm and Mt. Hokulani).
>>31671958
Does that mean our technology is taken from the mons rather than otherwise?
Does this also mean our technology comes from ayylmaos?
>>31671978
something like that.
>>31671546
you forgot Genesect
>>31675167
See >>31671913
It's a cyborg, not a robot.
>>31671978
Merely a coincidence, like Xurkitree and Kartana resembling manmade objects despite apparently being natural organisms in a universe without humans.
>>31671762
where the fuck enter magearna?
>>31675199
it can be otherwise, they are imitating the pokemon
>>31671546
Magearna is literally a robot.
>>31676502
That's literally OP's point.
>>31671597
The Metagross, Magneton, and Klinklang line are all natural. As in they have life cycles and give birth. They aren't man made. I don't remember the origins of the rest though.
