Is this supposed to happen or did I get lucky?
>>31671221
>that nature
I'm sorry for your loss
lucky ivs. I know most legendary pokemon are guaranteed to get you at least 2 or 3 perfect ivs from what i've seen but yours is way better than any of mine
>>31671263
3 IVs are guaranteed on legendaries gen6 and onward and from RBGY transfers
I need to go back into RBY and try to get more dittos after finishing E4 and having a way of reliably grinding for more money, most IVs I have on a ditto as of now are 4
>>31671263
Yeah I knew about that but I wasnt sure since its a scripted battle.
>>31671221
Lucky, but it's a bad nature so it's really not worth it. IVs can be fixed with caps, so natures are more important these days.
>>31672556
>>31671240
Wait, where do you guys see the nature?
>>31672569
fuck off newfag
>>31672569
On the stats screen and IV checking screen, two of the stats' names are a slightly different colour; the pale red is increased, the pale blue is increased. In OP's example, Defense is increased and Sp.Def is decreased.
>>31672579
Constructive comment, thanks for adding to the quality of the board!
>>31672583
Actually thanks, I figured I was missing something.
>>31671263
Currently hunting a shiny mew on my japanese emerald version, how many ivs are guaranteed on a Gen III legend? Or are they just random?
>>31672598
Random, the guaranteed flawless IVs are a Gen VI thing.
>>31672598
They only started IV locking in Gen 6 as far as I'm aware.
People just RNG abused or hacked before then.
>lax
>>31672620
>>31672626
Fuck. Thanks guys. I'll just bottle cap it if I do end up getting it then.
>>31671221
>not Naive
>fucking Lax
You poor soul.
>>31671221
ah man it hurts
unfortunately, natures are the only important thing. with a bit more time, you can fix imperfect IVs, but you cant ever fix natures, and it's not like you can ignore them.
>>31672953
Just wait for gen 8, you'll be able to fix natures too by then. Maybe we'll get to have a reasonable Hidden Power system in three gens as well.
>>31671221
>>31672579
>>31672596
come back when you at least finish middle school
>>31671270
>I need to go back into RBY and try to get more dittos after finishing E4 and having a way of reliably grinding for more money, most IVs I have on a ditto as of now are 4
Hey, that's not a bad idea.
>>31671221
I had something similar with the mandatory latias in alpha sapphire.
>>31673787
>gen 10
>You can set your Pokémon's HP type!
>still no HP Fairy
>>31673840
HP Fairy is just an inferior HP Ice anyway. There are not quite enough Pokémon x4 weak to Fairy to justify using it over Ice.
>>31673853
>>31673840
and, let's be honest, is there any special attacker that wants/needs fairy coverage that doesn't learn dazzling gleam?
>>31671221
>not nicknaming
>>31673835
KEK you call that lucky? my alpha saphire latias has all the ivs in 31 except attack
>>31673859
According to Smogon Tapu Keko himself should run HP Ice instead of Dazzling Gleam.
>>31673899
It makes sense. A neutral Thunderbolt in Electric Terrain hits harder than a SE Dazzling Gleam, so HP Ice is just there for the ground-types and 4x weaknesses.
>>31672643
> bottle cap
> emerald
what did he mean by this
>>31671221
>not timid
>not hp ice
delete your game file and get a gud tapu koko this time
>>31671221
>+defense is red
>-sp. def is blue
>marking the best stars with blue
Why people still doing this?
>>31674681
