I wouldn't run CM because at that point Fini is better. Choice Specs is still best set for Primarina, what it really needs to become a good OU 'mon is Boomburst.
Even as it is, it's still a pretty awesome and unique Pokémon honestly.

Incineroar has good bulk and ability but being weak to rocks and fighting is a crippler on most tanks. Plus no drain/sucker/fire punch didn't help

Primaria is really the only good starter in competitive all it needed was auto heal

Well lets see now...

The most glaring issue (to me at least) was the fact that the stat spread was all over the fucking place, so there wasn't one thing it could do efficiently.

Its too slow for sweeping but too fast for trick room. Its defenses are garbage with its special defense capping at a flat 100 which might make it a good vest user in theory, but it has a fuck all movepool to use that with too because its movepool is rather shallow, plus that paltry (or should I say poultry) 75 defense renders even the vest useless.

They tried making a jack-of-all-trades pokemon with Decidueye but ended up making the exact opposite because there's literally NOTHING Decidueye can do right that the others can't do better. The owlfags don't help either with their incessant pushing of the owl to try and make it OU material while shitting on the other two (and statistically SUPERIOR) starters.

Reminder that Fini needs to Calm Mind at least once to do the same damage as Primarina and it's a much more passive Pokémon. It's better obviously, but the fact that Prima has a niche over an A+ OU Pokémon (Tapu) is impressive as fuck.

To be honest the two only thing wrong with decidueye is that it's speed wasn't as high as we though and it doesn't get access to shadow sneak. Witch is quite odd for a ghost type pokemon. But bcuz aside from that it's pretty good. It's typing got better when it evolved. It lost the 4× weakness to ice, And got two immunitys it was really generous for Nintendo to give a decent typing. Tho I really wish other people from the fan base would stop trying to make it look more then what it actually is. And the speed being low causes two other specific fan bases to make decidueye look more useless then it actually is. And I think that's the only problems with decidueye.

Dude decidueye literally has almost everything that wold point at it being the next greninja/charizard. Think about it. Greninja wasn't that good until it got it's hidden ability. And I hate to brake it to you but charizard wasn't even better the other two kento starters when it came to competitive. Seriously charizardfags did the same exact thing that owlfags are doing right now. Pushing there favorite starter to a tier it's unable to handle. But fortunately for charizard he got lucky and got two mega. And as for decidueye it's too early to see what Nintendo might give him. But for the people who aren't convinced that decidueye is a special snowflake. Quickly tell me who's the only pokemon that ash cought in the alola region. And still for about more then 7 episodes hasn't caught another pokemon. Really makes you think. Also keep in mind that decidueye has something in common with both greninja and charizard. A black and white color shiny. With a third color to represent there respective typing. He's the most wanted pokemon for the New smash port on the switch. Sorry for any scptile fans by the way. I wanted him too, but his time expired after hoenn remakes hype was over. And one last thing. Why out of all three alola starter did rowlet get the only signature move. I mean they could have time to give litten a move baste on his fire hair balls. But they didn't. Instead they took the time to give rowlet his own little signature. I mean it would be more special if tapu bulu didn't get it either.

Actually it's not that bad. The other owl people are very chill. Ever since decidueye reveal it's bin quite nice being a owlfag. When the stats got reavled we were scared that the cat was going to be the fastest but even tho it wasn't the speed we were hoping for we still made it on top. And the other stats are decent too. We have the best shiny out of the alola starters. The best design. The cutest first form. And pretty good move Poole. But I guess our only down fall is the speed. And the baragfags and sometimes even sealfags trash talks about that. Well to be honest it's the only thing they can talk about the owl.
