Flying will probably never happen considering Tornadus is the only permanent pure Flying type.

Bug, Dark, Poison and Ground almost always pick up second types but they might as well at least give us pure lines for every type.

4x weaknesses is fine. Instead of a dualtyping completely outclassing a monotyping, your defensive matchups prevents the typing from having better defensive synergy. Almost if being better comes at a price. For instance Garchomp has a better offensive typing than Drudiggon, but is less likely to survive nonSTAB Ice attacks and lacks a resistance to Grass and Water.

I know Drudiggon has less viability, but it's defensive matchups don't make it 100% inferior to Chomp.
