I adored Salandit and was extremely disappointed that it's evolution just sexualized the shit out of it and stood it up on 2 legs. That being said it's still pretty good in battle so it's like a 4/10 to me

Interesting typing and ability, but goddamn does it have the durability of wet paper.
Ultimately corrosion is a niche ability because it's low surviveability and high speed and special attack means you're better off just spitting a flame booger or sludge wave at your foe, even if you're against something that is normally immune to poison.
Fire moves already counter steel so whether or not you can poison them is a complete non issue, and the only poison pokemon you'd give a damn about being able to poison is toxapex which gets stab scald and is gonna kick salazzle's ass right after doing so.

Now it's just another fast special sweeper, albeit with unique typing to fuck fairies.
Tanky steel types can't take a STAB fire attack from it, so toxing those is useless. Heatran ohkos it with Earth Power regardless of EV's.
The only thing it really works against is Toxapex, but carrying tox for just 1 mon is a waste of a slot, especially since it also gets Taunt.
They really should've given Corrosion to A-Muk.
