Prove me wrong.
>>31632354
I can't
>>31632354
i don't want to
>>31632354
how? you're right.
>>31632354
I actually can't, though
It only benefits mons with cross-gen Evos
On that note,
cross-gen evos were a mistakenot really, desu
>>31632354
>tfw I run Eviolite on Ivysaur because I think Venusaur is hideous and refuse to evolve it
I never understood the eviolite hate.
>>31632428
>>31632451
>>31632454
At least you all understand
Doublade is so much cooler than Aegislash and I prefer to use it.
>>31633256
>two Honedges taped together is """cooler""" than an actual evolution
>>31633000
They just hate getting walled by Chansey.
>>31632990
>Not liking based Battletoad
>>31633000
it makes certain evolutions irrelevant
Examples being, Chansy, rhydon, porygon2 of course, doublade was a thing for a bit.
Which is a tad unfair and unfun in some cases, because of how stingy players can be about how "good" a pokemon should be and call you a shit player because you aren't optimizing EVERY LITTLE THING.
>>31633000
People have an endless and toxic need for new evolutions of their favorite shitmon. They want game freak to take something they like and take a dump on it just so they can use it in their favorite competitive format. They rationalize that the only reason their favorite forgotten pokemon doesn't get the evo that it deserves is because of the existence of eviolite.
Makes me sick.
>>31633328
>rhydon
My god did they fuck up with this. It's evolution looks godawful.
>>31633327
shoo shoo, pudgy plant
I literally said this in another post below
>>31633328
Only Chansey is better than its evolution. Rhyperior is better than Rhydon because of Solid Rock, Porygon2 and Porygon-Z serve different purposes, and Doublade is just a bad version of Smogonsword.
>>31633272
>he doesn't prefer dual wielding in RPGs
>>31633389
>this thread was posted 30 minutes before your post
Fucking copycat
>>31633289
They dont know knock off
>>31633328
Even though Rhyperior looks like dogshit compared to Rhydon, Eviolite did not make Rhyperior inferior, as Rhyperior still has Solid Rock, and since it has solid rock, that means it can hold leftovers and choice band
>>31633444
You could also try Weakness Policy and Rock Polish.
>>31633387
>Fatmons are bad
I love eviolite though, it makes my fav mon playable
>>31633272
Tell that to the Metagross line's fans.

>>31632354
I can't prove you wrong if you were wrong in the first place.
>>31633597
epic meme
>>31632354
I can. Just delete Chansey and Eviolite is 100% fine.
>b-but Porygon
Nowhere near as aids inducing as Chansey, aka the biggest mistake Gamefreak ever made.
>>31632354
It should be a 20% boost for all stats.
>>31633328
With solid rock, Rhyperior has higher attack and only slightly weaker to physical moves and better at taking special moves if assault vest is put on. Both has its niches in doubles if we're talking about lightningrod. This is coming from a Rhydonfag.
>>31632354
Eviolite is fine.
The mistakes were Life Orb, Choice Specs, Scarf, Z-Crystals and Mega Stones.
>>31634490
>Unironically liking the vomit inducing ADV meta.
Fucking disgusting
>>31633499
Not him, and fatmons often turn out to be some of my favorites, but I think Venusaur's ugly as well.
>>31633328
None of those actually made their evolutions irrelevant though. Blissey still has the niche that it can use leftovers. Porygon2 and Porygon-Z fulfill wildly different roles (bulky tank vs. setup sweeper), Doublade is hardly used over Aegislash. I also doubt people use Rhydon over Rhyperior because the latter has better stats, Solid Rock and can hold an item.
Maybe Dusclops is an exception, but neither Eviolite Dusclops nor Dusknoir are particularly good Pokémon.
There's only one example of Eviolite being viable on an OU mon, and that's Chansey.
>>31632354
No, it should actually be buffed.
First stage pokemon in three stage lines should get 1.5-2x the effect, while using it one middle stages and mons with only two stage lines just gives the current bonus.
>Eviolite Porygon
>Eviolite Baby Pokemon
>Eviolite Starters
>EvioliteCosmog
>>31635652
Eviolite should only work on baby pokemon.
>>31632354
It's not broken, see usage stats.
Terrain Surge abilities on the other hand...
Or do you think Eviolithe is too bad? 2x instead of 1.5x would be nice.
>>31632354
Eviolite is literally the only reason to use some underevolved mons. Nothing else incentivizes using unevolved mons. The more viable options there are, the better the meta is. Why do you want to take away the viability and usefulness of a rather large portion of the roster?
That said, nothing can prove an opinion wrong or right.
>>31633335
Is there an Autistic Screech version of this?
>>31635672
I'd be worried that nobody would use it then,
...unless you would be keeping my suggestion of buffing the effect while also limiting it to baby Pokemon.
