Got a bannette and tropius, they're both pretty tight man.
Also got a rainbow booster, so curious what I'll receive there.

Otherwise though game is surprisingly fun, just wish the gem prices weren't so wonk. I suppose that's the pain of being mobile though.

I had Blastoise land purple 7 times in a row and it is at 40 atm. The majority of the time a yellow goes up against my purples it fucking lands, even if the yellow is around 20% - it fucking lands.

Does anyone thing it is possible that the statistics are pushed in certain directions based on what colors an opponents mon has on it's wheel? Or am I just THAT unlucky?

My buddy ran statistics from one of my games b/c I was showing it to him for the first time. TWO different events happened that he says had under a 1% chance of happening!

The link in the OP has the final floor of The Volcano listed as giving Double Chance as one of the rewards. Is this actually right? That's a rare and actually useful plate that sells for a lot of gems in the shop. All of the other plates given out as prizes are all cheap commons.

I just wanted to check if this was a typo before I decide to grind this stage since it's actually kind of hard.

Shuppet is everywhere, Kirlia/gardevoir are most common counters. A couple eeveelutions are pretty good for their speed and status moves. Some EXs are broken, others suck. Expect to see Lati@s, greninja, birds, and magmortar everywhere. Magmortar is super annoying. In the end RNG decides everything.

Haven't actually used it enough to determine, but it is the closest thing I have to a decent goalie. Plop its fat ass on the point and swing for 80 damage at things that get close, or just end asleep with purple priority, or fake sleep with more purple priority and free respin.

Greninja really can't do much damage but it's fast and has a high likelihood of taking out purple users. Birds I haven't faced much but I hear Zapdos is stupid good. chance for an ex from 2 packs is 7.84%
chance from the quad pack is 27.6% (assuming the ex prob scales in the guaranteed pack)

This is something I've seen being asked over and over again, and it's really the easiest way to learn and how I first got into it. The game is being discussed, with talk about the meta and such - but there's no real reason to keep talking about how ingots work over and over again. That's why it's all organized. It's usually the point of a FAQ, so beginners can read and get up to speed, while the experienced players can talk about their current experiences without having to explain it over and over again.

Unless I'm mistaken, and it's a guide general and I wasn't aware of it.
