I haven't watched the ashnime since Advanced, but based off of things I've heard and clips I've seen he seems like one of the most likable characters.
Knowing ashnimefags' luck Team Rocket is gonna get perma-canned at some point for a new set of bumbling villains that are about half as likable.
Or maybe Burch and Cassidy were an attempt to test those waters and now it'll never happen because nobody cared about those fags.
