Well, they legitimately are. Oranguru there got destroyed by a zombie cripple, and it was 2v1 even. Most Links have effortlessly soloed dragons and Dovahkiin kills dozens of them like they were livestock.

I mean I know DS has the whole hipster cred thing going on but Ornstein is shit compared to these guys. In terms of power levels and feats Soulsborne is very low tier.

You have to consider though that Dark Souls dragons are much more powerful than the majority of TES dragons. Link and the Dovahkiin are also both blessed by the deities of their worlds to have the power to do such things, while Ornstein is more or less just a regular dude.

Where how badass you become physically/spiritually is directly proportional to the badass shit you do. But yeah, Skyrim dragons are more or less wild animals that scream fire. They go down with enough arrows in the throat. The only advantage Dovakiin has over any regular angry enough Viking is that he can also scream fire. Link is kind of his own thing since Nintendo is a way higher fantasy, meaning putting realistic power levels on it won't make sense. He just has plot armor on top of a bow and arrow, a sword, and a few extremely situational trinkets.
