That means that in little under a month and a half Sun and Moon have outsold what X&Y did in 5 1/2 months.

Now add the huge 20th annivesary promotion on every corner, with SM trailers every 2-3 weeks, sometimes often and then on top of that you also had the Pokemon GO mania that reminded the whole world about Pokemon
