Cradily was one of my favorite mons back when I first got emerald, I was disappointed when he couldn't damage anything.

All these years later I got another one with storm drain to use on battle spot, and boy does he kick ass.

Storm drain sucks up scald and lets him wall any kyogre that doesn't carry ice beam. with a +1 giga drain, it takes out almost half of its hp.
Even without a barrier, he was able to take a dragon ascent from mega-fug, and anything short of fire blast on Charizard Y, and either OHKO or heavily damage them in return.

No, he is basically muk with more balanced bulk.

He does just fine in battlespot, soaking up a decent bit with an assault vest with poison typing.

At least he gets a large movepool, especially with the elemental punches from Gen 4 and other stuff like ice beam.
