The only good thing to come from fairy type was the indirect buff to poison. It is way too good of an offensive type and the immunity to dragon doesn't make sense.

Though I don't mind the extra type, I find it a bit unnecessary to be honest.

They could have just given Dragon a weakness to Steel types and made Poison SE against Fighting to give it them the buffs/nerfs they need (since there are already resists there anyway).

Bug really didn't need that extra nerf.

It's my favorite type, but I can see it's overpowered.

Make Grass and Bug resist it, and make Bug super effective on it.

It's just as bad as Gen 5 Dragon but in a whole different way.

Dragon was unbelievable as a STAB while being a good defensive type while Fairy is a godly defensive type while also being a good STAB.

The worst part is that now giving Bug an offensive buff runs the risk of Pheromosa tearing apart the whole game.

Fairy being nerfed offensively along with a Poison buff should even things out.

I am happy it's here after the specsMence menace of Gen 5. Salamence and Hydreigon really centralized the game unless you had VERY specific counters (Blissey). It also gave my Poison type much more viability. The Bug and Fighting nerf seemed unnecessary though.

All of the good dragons still hit hard with other stab attacks. Meanwhile fighting, dark, and bug types are fucked. So it's a pointless nerf to 3 types who weren't overpowered. Pointless.

They chose the gayest name possible and made the type OP because it's so gay.
